Prices in US dollars. Payments are processed by Creem, who act as the merchant of record and collect any VAT or sales tax due. Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not carry over. Annual billing is available at two months free.
Common questions
What is a credit?
A credit is the unit Vela bills in. Every answer costs credits based on which model you used and how long the page was — the panel shows the price next to each model before you choose it, and what each answer cost afterwards.
Does Vela read my pages in the background?
No. Nothing is sent anywhere until you ask a question or press a button. Vela also asks permission before it can read pages at all, and there's a toggle to exclude the current page from a conversation. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time, from the billing portal linked in the extension's account panel or from the support page. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Which browsers does it work in?
Google Chrome, version 116 or newer. Vela uses Chrome's side panel and sign-in APIs, so it is Chrome-only for now.
Is my page content used to train AI models?
Vela does not train models on your data. Content is passed to the model provider only to produce your answer. See Privacy for who processes what.
